What a great start to my day! While I was leaving the house to bring the boys to school, I ran into a woman from the neighbourhood who is a supply teacher.
She told me how wonderful and polite Connor was to her when she was in his classroom. Connor’s class is in a portable and he got up to open the door for her. She said he was a wonderful young man!
I guess we are doing something right!
After a short walk with the dog (she doesn’t like walking in wet snow!), I started my day off by doing some hockey stuff, then I ran a few errands and hung out with the puppy. Connor called from school because he had a headache. He relaxed in the couch while I wrapped gifts.
Carter walked the dog home from school while myself and Carson worked on a snowman at school (he did the work, I just pointed out the good snow).
Here are some pics!
After supper, I took Carter to his game. They played the Jr Grads Blue who have the second highest number of penalty minutes at 126! Carter’s team only has 52! If you’d heard the parents you would understand where the kids get it from! The Knights won 2-1, they had a lot of chances but the Grads goalie had a good game.
Carter had a solid game and his effort paid off, he won the hardest worker puck!
I’m off tomorrow too, I have to get the rest of the groceries for Christmas dinner, then finish wrapping presents and hopefully get a few other things done!
